GMJA400-S-MOB Gas Detection Module for Quadruped Robots
A pumped payload for quadruped robots: up to four gases plus temperature and humidity, IP66, 113 × 113 × 46 mm, about 500 g.
Overview
Quadruped robots carry instruments into places people should not walk: cable tunnels, storage yards, damaged structures, plant walkways at night. The MOB is the payload for that job. It measures 113 × 113 × 46 mm, weighs about 500 g, and mounts on the robot's back rail or a quick-release gimbal.
It monitors up to four gases plus temperature and humidity in one pass, sampling by pump through a sealed gas path at constant flow rather than relying on diffusion. That matters close to the ground, where dust and disturbed air would otherwise slow a diffusion sensor down.
The housing is IP66 and rated Ex ia IIC T4 Ga, with a vibration-tolerant structure tuned for the 1-3 Hz gait of a walking platform. Data leaves over UART, RS485, USB or standard ROS/ROS2 topics, with WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G and 5G optional, and the unit buffers at least 500,000 records locally for upload after the run.
